5"x7" original botanical cyanotype on premium watercolor paper with deckled edges. This piece has been float matted over handmade marbled emerald green paper and framed in a 8"x10" solid wood walnut frame. Frame can be displayed on a tabletop or hung on the wall (wall mount hardware included).
This one-of-a-kind cyanotype was printed with sunlight and made from locally grown poppy flowers, which I personally hand pressed and dried.

About the cyanotype process: Cyanotype is a centuries-old photographic process that uses sunlight and a UV-sensitive chemistry to create “blue prints” of images on paper or fabric. When sunlight hits paper that has been painted with the UV-sensitive solution, everything exposed to the UV light turns a deep Prussian blue after being rinsed in water, and anywhere that was blocked from the light turns white/light blue.
