11"x14" original botanical cyanotype on premium watercolor paper, framed in a beautiful 11"X14" solid natural wood frame. 

This one-of-a-kind cyanotype was printed with sunlight and made from a gorgeous locally grown peony, which I carefully hand pressed and dried. (I know you aren't supposed to have favorite children, but this cyanotype is for sure my most beloved piece in this collection!)

About the cyanotype process: Cyanotype is a centuries-old photographic process that uses sunlight and a UV-sensitive chemistry to create “blue prints” of images on paper or fabric. When sunlight hits paper that has been painted with the UV-sensitive solution, everything exposed to the UV light turns a deep Prussian blue after being rinsed in water, and anywhere that was blocked from the light turns white/light blue.
